Due to many of you reporting speeding along several areas in the SKETTY area,

we have worked in partnership with Speed Enforcement Wales, Go Safe and the Fire service.

Motorists were stopped, if seen above the 20mph limit and advised appropriately, receiving a talk from the Fire Service

regarding the dangers of speeding in built up areas.

The “Op Atal” was targeting the following roads yesterday:

Rhyd y Defaid

New Mill Road

Saunders Way

Derwyn Fawr Road

Future dates will be set up, and possibly these roads revisited again. 

We aim to keep our communities safe!
